Patients of Senior Dimensions have the privilege of getting reimbursed on each visit by their insurance company, simply ask us for a receipt at the end of each visit for insurance reimbursement purposes.

We can bill GEHA, auto related medpay (medical benefits expense), and general liability for fall related injuries on a private property. Chiropractic care is also covered by the State of Nevada Victims of Crime Program.
We are in-network as an Aetna provider and can verify your insurance deductibles and copay through Availity. We have found most patient out of pocket costs are in between $10 to $60 per visit when using Aetna. We won't know all of the services covered until the first exam and treatment claim form is sent out. Upon receiving an explanation of benefits (EOB) from Aetna, we will know if there are covered services beyond the adjustment of the spine. Everyone has a different type of plan, some plans will only pay for the adjustment of the spine, while others may pay for extra services such as ultrasound therapy, electrostimulation therapy, and intersegmental traction. Using Aetna is like a discount card as a member, you aren't expected to pay more than what is collected after each visit under patient responsibility, and because of the negotiated contracted rates, in-network chiropractic visits are generally affordable. However, the downside, in-network chiropractic visits with Aetna won't help too much in offsetting the balance in a higher deductible plan. You can try to see an out of network chiropractor, but many insurance companies will have an out of network deductible that is even higher than the in-network deductible.

Patients that are paying out of pocket with no active insurance claim may come in during our walk-in hours for an adjustment. We take appointments for personal injury related exams and treatment (please allow up to 1 hour for your first visit if involved in a motor vehicle collision); appointments are required for sports physicals, employment or college related TB physicals (must have a recent chest x-ray) or an outside lab perform your TST.

For other services where appointments are recommended, please consider the following below with further detailed descriptions on some of our unique and distinct services:

1.) Adjustment + Muscle Work (Can include Graston, Myofascial Release, Proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation (PNF) stretching, Neuromuscular re-education, or Actively Releasing Muscle Tension)

2.) Adjustment + Modalities (Therapeutic machines such as electrodes, ultrasound, heat/cold therapy, low level laser therapy, or shockwave therapy on shortened time)

3.) Chronic Lumbar Disc Protocol (Flexion Distraction for spinal decompression, Infrared Heat Lamp and Low Level Laser therapy)

a.) Spinal decompression provides pain relief, relieves pressure on spinal nerves, helps restore normal joint alignment, and allows for healing of the spinal disc.

b.) Infrared heat lamp therapy helps to circulate oxygen-rich blood, promote faster healing of muscle tissue by penetrating below layers of the skin, and aid in more effective pain relief.

c.) Low Level Laser therapy decreases pain and inflammation, stimulates collagen metabolism and wound healing by increasing oxygen and blood flow, promoting muscle calcium uptake, and improves neurotransmitter release.

4.) Shockwave Therapy Protocol (Extra time for up to 1000 shocks maximum per body part to reduce pain in inflamed muscular tissue caused by repetitive strain, break down adhesiveness, and to promote better healing)

5.) Nasal Release Technique aka Nasal Cranial Release Therapy for recovery from post-concussion symptoms. The procedure uses a small balloon affixed to an inflatable device which is inserted into six separate nasal passages to realign the nasal cavities and adjust the bones of the skull.

6.) Dry Needling are acupuncture needles used specifically for trigger points, muscles, and tendons.

If medically necessary, a referral will be made for radiographic imaging studies.  Both X-ray and MRI will taken off-site at a diagnostic imaging facility.
